Dear All,

I learned Reiki (first degree) in the month of October. I am still in the middle of my 21 days cleansing process. I have completed 16 days of giving Reiki to myself and I already feel the benefits. Earlier I used to feel really tired even though I used to sleep for around seven to eight hours. After learning Reiki, the quality of my sleep has improved. Also, whenever I used to stay up late to study, my stomach would get upset in the morning owing to the lack of sleep. But, now that has completely stopped.

I have also given Reiki to a friend when she was suffering from cough and cold. She has also reported feeling better.

I am very glad I learned Reiki. No matter how busy I am, I always make time for Reiki as I feel it is totally worth giving time to. I would love to learn the second degree too.

The pictures i had sent you were taken in malasiya at around 6 a,m.It was the last day of our trip and we were ready to check out..To capture the last moments of our vacation my sister clicked some photos with her sony digital camera.In the first picture when i saw white light around me though i guessed something extraodinary has happened but my sister thought camera angle is wrong or finger print or some camera problem .We laughed at it as she cleant the lens and again took pictures. White light kept on increasing in in 2 consecutive pics and surprisingly disappeared in 3rd one.when i showed it to other reiki channels in my famiy everybody was amazed. Reason is unknown and experience is unbelievable.I consider it as God BLESSING and an indication to remain connected with reiki always.May reiki flow through me all my life. I thank reiki for being ther in my life.

My sister, who is in the US, was diagnosed with breast cancer. She was prescribed Radiation therapy which was to be continued for 6 weeks. The doctors also warned her that she may face difficulties in bearing the side-effects after about two weeks of radiation.

At this point we went to you after hearing of the good effects of Reiki treatment and Reiki Kendra through another sister of mine. We requested you to carry out distance healing through Reiki, for our sister.

After about a month, our sister in US could feel the good effects of Reiki. Not only has she been able to go through with the radiation treatment successfully, she has been able to keep her usual cheerful demeanor.

Dear All,

I am delighted to share a magical experience of Reiki . My grandmother(72years ) got a stroke on 19 August, 2010 at evening. She was hospitalized and doctors declared hers case to be very critical. Her conditioned worsened on 20 August , 2010. Immediately I contacted Dr Amar Kumar . I requested him for sending distant Reiki . He did it. The miracle happened. My grandmother who was unconscious started responding. She blinked, turned sideways without assistance , talked . Her CT reports came positive.Dr Amar Kumar continued sending Distant Reiki. On 24 August, 2010 she was discharged from the hospital. She is doing much better. I am hopeful that her MRI reports would come out good. Thank you Dr Amar Kumar for helping me in the time of odds.

Dada Vaswani had developed movement problem in the left side of his body after a mild stroke subsequent to surgery of his right hand after the accident.There is improvement with initial signs of normalcy returning.I personally send him Reiki.May I request you all to continue sending Reiki for his speedy recovery.He is in Chicago.
About 12 years back I had been inspired to follow his advice to repeat mentally every hour - " I am not alone God is with me " --It gave me so much strength in my weak moments.Countless people like me have drawn support from this great saint of this age.

What a miracle? Can't explain.

Mrs Subha Bose from Jadavpur University, mailed some photos showing foot prints of her feet on her mosaic floor in her bed room.After a bath, during 21 days self-treatment/self-cleansing,she walked into her bed room and noticed these marks on the floor.And it was not any chemical etc. She was totally amazed to see it and rang me up for some exlanation. Reiki Kendra will provide free Reiki training to those suffering from chronic diseases and are not able to afford medical treatment, to enable them to do self Reiki treatment.Participants will pay Rs 5=00 as a token charge.

How To Choose Your Reiki Master

People have been asking me how to choose right Reiki Master who is himself trained in traditional stream of Reiki.One should remember how Mrs Hawayo Takata was trained to be Reiki Master by Dr Chugiro Hayasi, second Grand Master.After learning 1st & 2nd deg Reiki in Tokio in 1935 , she returned to Hawai and established herself as a Reiki healer and for 3 years treated many people with dedication.Then Dr Hayashi went to Hawai and spent 6 months grooming Mrs Hawayo Takata and in 1938 made her Reiki Master.A lot of dedicated effort has to be made by aspirants for mastership for a sustained period under Guru Shisya Parampara.

Society is full of 'quick' Reiki Masters who lack guidance of right Reiki Master Teacher.So many types of Reiki i.e. Hypno Reiki,Karuna Reiki,Short Reiki,Crystal Reiki,Modern Reiki etc have been developed by individuals for serving their own interest.These were not given by the founder Reiki Guru Dr Mikao Usui who had God's blessings

I have included in my book a chapter -HOW TO CHOOSE YOUR REIKI MASTER
A properly trained and empowered Reiki Master is capable of giving proper attunement to his/her pupil, resulting into continuing lifetime benefits in terms of health & happiness. Once attuned, a person remains with the capability of channelising Reiki for his/her whole life. As such it is very important to choose the right Reiki Master.
Media, publicity etc. have helped bringing merit of Reiki to the general public, but they have also been misused by “Quacks” for their personal gains. I hope this will make readers more aware and help them in choosing the right Reiki Master and this in turn will help them in spreading traditional and pure form of Reiki in our society.
A surgeon after many years of studies and practical training can perform an operation with reasonable expectation of cure. If a nurse watching him perform the surgery also attempts to do so, then certain post-surgical complications are inevitable. One has to go through the defined syllabus/course to become proficient in any discipline. There cannot be any shortcut to perfection.
Greed for money has always been one of the prime reasons for dilution of standards. Quacks are common in other healing disciplines, including allopathy, homoeopathy, ayurved etc. Reiki also is no exception. While Reiki is being recognised worldover due to its simplicity, there are all kinds of people entering into it posing to be properly trained. They are in a big hurry to become Reiki Masters in a few days or months of training so that they can start taking classes. In traditional Reiki the Mastership cannot be awarded in such a hurry for lure of money. Attunement from such Reiki Masters may have adverse effects in the course of time.
Those wanting to learn Reiki should ask some typical questions to the Reiki Master :
- When and from whom did he/she learn first and second degree Reiki?
- When and from whom he/she took third degree or Master degree ?
- Did he learn first, second and third degree from the same Reiki Master - Teacher ?
- If not, what was the reason for change ?
- What is his Reiki lineage? How he/she fits into the chain of Gurus starting from Dr. Mikao Usui ?
It is also advisable to check-up on his reputation. Getting feedback from his students, if possible, should help in choosing him as your Reiki Master. Sometime when in doubt, his/her earlier Reiki Master may be contacted for cross checking.
By asking probing questions and also by speaking to the various related people, one may develop some “feeling”. In fact the right Reiki Master will attract you towards him/her to form a bond of Reiki relationship.

One feels deeply sad that Michael Jackson is no more...and all that is being highlighted by media is that in his lonely life and pressing schedules he depended on over dose of medicines having serious side effect.Alternative medicine including Reiki could have done well in such extreme circumstance also.A change in life style with regulated medicinal dose and support of Reiki could have done wonders.We can pay tribute and pray for the great atrtiste's soul

Four yrs old Anju rescued from borewell pit

Yesterday while having morning cup of tea and watching morning news one would have felt so concerned but helpless when TV channel showed the details of rescue operation being carried out at the site where Anju fell in a borewell pit.I sent some distance Reiki to protect her and to support rescue operation. Evening news came that she was rescued alive.God's blessings for her.Sending Reiki gave me instant reward that I did my part in a small way.Evening news was a bonus since result is not in our hand. We can only pray.
It gave me an idea that this blog could perhaps serve as a platform where many 2nd deg Reiki channels may voluntarily send distance Reiki for needy patients requiring help.I request such willing Reiki channels to come forward and render their help time to time.Grateful thanks.

Joy of Reiki Mastership

Yesterday I gave master's attunement to two persons and feeling so good about it.Normally it takes about three years of consistent and committed working by aspirants under regular guidance of Reiki Master Teacher and mastership is given when apprpriate level is reached .Many people express their desire and are willing to pay much more than normal fees but mostly they drop out or become 'quick master' following short cut methods offered by ignorant or non traditional masters.
In all I have been able to attune four masters including above two.That is a great feeling of contributing towards healing.
